Nelsen AIO Air Injection Oxidizing Filter System

Eliminate rust staining, as well as sulphur “rotten egg” odors with the Nelsen AIO™ Air Injection Oxidizing Filter System.

Fleck 2510AIO SXT Control Valve

Iron and Sulphur are two of the most common elements found in nature,

while both are extremely important for every day life, both are a nuisance in water and can cost you money and cause frustration.

Iron staining is a common problem in homes today. Iron staining on fixtures, as well as dingy clothes and sometimes even hair will turn a reddish orange color. Iron bacteria may be present in water with iron, creating a slimy build up in standing water (such as your toilet tank) and can smell like rotting vegetation. Sulfur is easily detected by the presence of a “rotten egg” odor, and is sometimes associated with yellow staining.

All of these problems can be eliminated with the Nelsen AIO™ Air Injection System.

The Nelsen AIO™ air Injection Oxidizing Filter System, as a single tank system, is an efficient and cost effective system for the removal of iron and sulphur. The Nelsen AIO™ maintains an “air pocket ” in the top of the tank while the system is in service. As the water passes thru the air pocket, iron and sulphur are oxidized.

Additionally, dissolved oxygen is added to the water. The Nelsen AIO™ filter media bed then removes the iron and sulphur from the water.

The Nelsen AIO™ can remove up to 8 ppm Hydrogen Sulfide and up to 7 ppm Iron. a daily backwash will remove accumulated iron and replenish the

Fleck 5600AIO SXT Control Valve

filter media bed. The regeneration process also adds a fresh air pocket to the system.

The Nelsen AIO™ system comes equipped with either a Fleck 2510SXT or 5600SXT air injection control head that automatically backwashes the system daily to clean the media and flush everything down the drain. By utilizing a patented piston in the control valve, the Nelsen aIO™ is able to put the whole oxidation process inside one tank, keeping maintenance costs and down time to a minimum. The systems include 3/4" by-pass valve, Structural mineral tank and all necessary media and support bed for individual application.

Nelsen FreshPoint™ Ultrafiltration System

The PENTEk® FreshPoint™ Ultrafiltration System provides complete point-of-entry (POE) filtration proven to reduce turbidity, particulates and cysts

Nelsen FreshPoint™ Ultrafiltration System

for safer, cleaner water at every tap. The system employs hollow-fiber Ultrafiltration membrane technology to filter impurities as small as 0.025 microns.

To maximize membrane capacity and service life, a metered flushing cycle is controlled using an advanced controller and high-performance turbine meter.

The self-cleaning forward and backflush cycles are initiated when the programmed capacity of the membrane is reached. During the backwash, flow is reversed and particles are ejected from the pores of the membrane and flushed to drain. In the forward- flush cycle, service water passes through the capillaries at a high speed, scouring particles from the membrane surface and rinsing them from the system. Since power is only required to flush the system, outages and interruptions will not jeopardize the integrity of membrane or its ability to provide safer, cleaner water.

The advanced electronic controller provides a programmable day override which allows the unit to flush every day with fresh water when the system is not in use. Critical system diagnostics, including totalized flow, instantaneous flow rate, and previous day’s water usage, are available to optimize flushing cycles and monitor performance.

The high-performance industrial fiberglass housing is pressure rated to 300 psi. Inside the housing, the

membrane is sealed with double radial o-rings, minimizing the potential for leak paths. Quick-connect end caps allow the membrane to be easily removed for cleaning or replacement. The system can be applied to solve “known” water problems including high turbidity, suspended solids, and certain microbiological contaminants. It can also serve as a flushable pre-filter to extend the life of media filters downstream.

Nelsen Poly-UF™ System

The Nelsen Poly-UF™ system offers filtration down to 0.02 micron at service flow rates up to 12gpm. Utilizing ENPRESS’ patented and industry exclusive liner design, the internal UF module treats colloids, bacteria, cysts, viruses, turbidity, tannins, and other particles down to 0.02 micron size.

Membrane

The patented polysulfonebased Outside/In Ultrafiltration Membrane is designed for turbidity, cyst reduction and fine sediment filtration applications, and is NSF 61 certified. The membrane operates with flow from the outside-to-inside.

Benefits include minimized risk of deep clogging, simple cleaning with water and/or air, and a compact design. The membrane is nonbiodegradable, and has superior mechanical and chemical resistance. The high surface area UF bundles require normal line pressure to operate, low waste discharge when in backwash/cleaning mode, and offer low pressure drop with high service flow rates.

The Nelsen Poly-UF™ can be utilized as a final polishing stage or on water reclamation systems for rainwater or Grey water, along with offering protection during power outages and intermittent power. The system is BioVir certified and tested for log reduction.

Residential/ Light Commercial System

The Nelsen Poly UF System features the Polymeric Ultrafiltration (Poly-UF) Vessel system and the “C-Series” backwash control valve for daily backwashing of the membranes. The vessel also comes standard with a bottom drain opening and ball valve for ease of drainage and cleaning purposes of the tank system.

form a scale and create problems in water heaters, washing machines, dishwashers, coffee makers, humidifiers and plumbing systems. Nelsen water conditioners and drinking water systems are designed to reduce these unwanted contaminants providing your family with a refreshing difference, saving you money now and in the years ahead.

Nelsen brand water conditioners and filtration products have been providing homeowners with the best water treatment solutions for more than 50 years. Working with the professional water treatment dealer, your new Nelsen water treatment system will fit your exact needs and provide you with years of quality, conditioned water.

Fleck Brand Twin-Tank Control Valves

Twin-tank systems provide your family with soft water 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That's because the second tank soft water acts as a backup, ready to immediately provide soft water once 100% of the first tank is used. While the second tank is in service, the first tank regenerates, giving you all the advantages of continuous soft water.

Noryl or Lead-Free Brass Construction

Manufactured from high-tech Noryl (R)* material, the 9100 valve has been engineered and tested to withstand the

Benefits of a Nelsen Water Treatment System

In the bathroom

Your soap and shampoo will lather better. Your hair and skin will feel noticeably cleaner, softer, and not as dry. Additionally, there will be no soap scum or mineral deposits to clean off sinks, showers, tubs and toilets.

In the kitchen

Dishes will clean up more easily, and be spot-free, without the gray film glass gets when etched by mineral laden wear. Plus hands will feel softer and look better.

In the laundry

Clothes will softer, cleaner, whiter, and brighter. Plus they will last longer. Using the soft water and pure soap products increases the life of clothing, towels and linens up to 33%. Without hard water service issues, washing machines will last longer too.

Plumbing and appliances

Over time, soft water saving can really add up. For instance, conditioned water not only delivers greater washing power, it reduces the amount of soap you need to use by up 70%.

In fact, the Bureau of Statistics found that between 17 and 20.8 cents of every dollar are spent on cleaning products. Soft water can reduce that bill by up to 65%. It can also eliminate extra rinse cycles and hot water. Plus using less detergent, household cleaners and chemicals is better for the environment.
